Happy First Birthday to Jonathan Leo!
Today, we went to Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Then on to Cana, where we renewed our wedding vows. And to Nazareth to the Church of the Annunciation, a gorgeous church. Many countries have donated plaques depicting the Blessed Mother as she is known in the country. The USA's was made by an artist from Maple Glen, PA, can you believe it?
We also stopped at the River Jordan. We saw people being baptized in the river. We were quite interested in the wildlife and fish in the river.
Lunch was provided by our guide and was like a pizza, but with toppings of white cheese, thyme/salt/sesame and vegetable. We had baklava for dessert, then back to the hotel for swimming in the mineral water of the pool and a nap before dinner.
